CommuniTyler Seattle was great! Volunteers worked with Lettuce Link at Marra Farms, an urban farm south of Seattle that grows fresh produce for the food banks in the area, and puts on educational events. There were a few groups volunteering that day, so they got to meet some new people and tell them all about CommuniTyler. Our group put together a big bed for planting so the CommuniTyler crew dug walkways, measured out rows, made mounds for planting, weeded some weeds and found LOTS of bugs and worms. Afterwords, we had a barbecue and played some lawn games at Gasworks Park!
