CommuniTyler Seattle partnered with the Children’s Garden in Magnuson Park. Jenny, Kelsi, and I had a crew of 21 energetic volunteers who helped pull about 50 buckets of weeds, spread 3 bags of fertilizer, and spread at least 5 wheelbarrows of mulch to beautiful the Children’s Garden and to prepare the area for upcoming spring and summer classes, field trips, and special events for children in the community. We also got a “CommuniTyler rocks!” and a “Thanks a Million!” from a very appreciative Director of Magnuson Nature Programs. After volunteering we had a fantastic BBQ with no rain!
