11 volunteers participated in the CommuniTyler event in Hampton, VA. The events started bright and early at 7:30 so volunteers were able to thoroughly clean up two properties that provide affordable housing to low income families. After bagels and coffee volunteers trimmed, clipped, weeded, pruned, hedged, edged, mowed, filled, painted, and raked for 4 hours! The properties both looked great afterward and the Housing Development Corporation of Hampton Roads was very thankful for the help. Afterward everybody celebrated with a small BBQ and a couple of beers of course.
Everyone was super excited and worked really hard! Thanks to all of the volunteers and everyone who helped coordinate!
