In the Pacific Heights community of San Francisco, CommuniTyler teamed up with Friends of Urban Forest to plant trees on neighborhood streets
CommuniTyler joined the Golden Gates National Parks Conservancy to plant native plants in a newly restored floodplain at Muir Beach
Volunteering out at Muir Beach was a great experience. I’m embarrassed to say that I’ve never actually done community service before but I am very happy that my first experience was being involved with Communityler. Being able to help restore a beautiful area where I grew up felt great. Being surrounded by current friends, old friends, and new faces was a wonderful experience. I was able to reconnect with high school friends that I hadn’t seen since graduation and make new friends during the day. It was a great experience and I look forward to getting together with everyone year after year. This is something that I am proud to be a part of and look forward to having more and more friends join in as we go.
