The CommuniTyler event in Honolulu went very well. Volunteers played music for a patient in Queens Hotel and were moved by the patient’s reaction. Though only a small group attended the event since the room was rather small, volunteers said their impact on this patient’s life was extremely tangible and worthwhile.
Jackie, the patient, was truly touched and moved by the live music at her bedside. Her husband Don said that she had been looking forward to it all week, and she wrote us a note at the end, since she couldn’t speak!
