“CommuniTyler participants partnered with the VanLandingham Rotary Club for an early morning litter sweep of the local public school campuses and the public Recreation Center. Hilton Head Island geography means that all litter and run-off enter the fragile wet lands ecosystem and the ocean waters within minutes of a rainfall, so regular clean-ups are vital to protecting this land. Fifteen people participated in the sweep and collected about 15 large bags of trash from the area in just two hours!”
