Our largest site this year, Chicago, worked with Friends of the Parks for the 4th year in a row. We used weedwackers to clear a natural trail, worked our muscles by spreading mulch along the path, and even helped to clean and sharpen tools with a guy in charge named “Mr. Tree.” Afterwards, a good time was had by all at a BBQ where everyone drank delicious Lagunitas and played Spikeball.
