San Francisco volunteers split into two groups- one group at Muir Beach removing invasive species, and the other in Petaluma assisting a charity biking race.
At Muir Beach on the Northern California coast, we got down on hands and knees and pulled Sweet Clover, an invasive plant to the California coast, out of the ground, making way for native plants to grow in.
In Petaluma, volunteers helped with biker registration, helped at aid stations during the race, set up tables and chairs for the reception after the race and cheered on bikers crossing the finish line. Helped raise money for local Rotary International Club.
